Epson Sales to Change Company Name to "Epson Japan" on October 1st

Epson Sales Japan Corporation, a consolidated subsidiary of Seiko Epson Corporation, resolved to amend its articles of incorporation at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on March 26, and decided to change its company name to "Epson Japan Corporation" effective October 1, 2026.

Since its establishment, the company has primarily focused on selling Epson products in the Japanese market. However, against a backdrop of changing business environments and diversifying customer needs, it has been transitioning to a problem-solving business structure that goes beyond merely providing products.

This name change aims to clearly position the company as a solutions provider that creates and offers solutions to customer challenges in the Japanese market, in order to achieve the long-term vision "ENGINEERED FUTURE 2035" and the medium-term management plan "Phase 1" announced on March 13.

The new company name will be applied sequentially starting October 1, 2026, and the company states that the old name may remain in some instances during the transition period.
